ROSE ANNA HUGHES HOME
The crown jewel of Presbyterian Homes and Services of Kentucky, Rose Anna Hughes Homes continues to reflect an air of graciousness and southern hospitality that has existed since the original home for widows was created in 1947 in the Conrad-Caldwell House on St. James Court in Old Louisville. Since moving to join Westminster Terrace on a beautiful, wooded 9-acre campus in southeast Louisville, Rose Anna Hughes Home has offered compassionate personal care services and a welcoming environment for over 30 years.
Rose Anna Hughes Home features private and semi-private rooms and apartments for residents who require medical assistance and support with activities of daily living. Multiple floor plans offer living options with housekeeping and laundry service, and meals are served daily in an elegantly appointed dining room.
We have created a nurturing community at Rose Anna Hughes Home and have nurses on call 24 hours a day. Our committed and caring employees and nurses not only assist residents with medication, dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene, but also give advice, offer emotional and psychological support, and urge residents to engage in social activities and outings. Our chaplain offers pastoral care and we invite family members and friends to participate in our community and become involved in the care for their loved ones.
Rose Anna Hughes Home is convenient to shopping and dining, but its green, serene surroundings provide a relaxed and quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Several gardens are on the campus with quiet places to sit, providing the opportunity for residents to enjoy nature’s beauty just steps from their doorways. At Rose Anna Hughes Home, we are committed to preserving each resident’s individuality and independence within a community that is vibrant, nurturing, and spiritual.
