We first met Mr. Kelly Estep during his stay at the facility as a resident in December 2005. Kelly was nursed back to a healthy state at Good Shepherd. As part of his therapy, the staff would have him do simple tasks to avoid his wanting to leave the facility. After becoming better and better acquainted with the staff, he did not want to leave. Once his discharge day came, Kelly continued to visit the facility daily because he had become a part of the Good Shepherd Family. He continues to volunteer and visit the staff and residents each day. If he misses a day of work, the staff immediately calls to check his whereabouts. Kelly will always be a part of our family.
