PHSK home office staff volunteers deliver meals twice a month for the Meals on Wheels program.
At the special request of PHSK, Santa and his elves delivered a good amount of holiday cheer……..and a little something extra from PHSK. Baskets filled with goodies were delivered with the meals……it was a special time for everyone.

The third annual Senior Q will be held on August 21, 2010.
Helmwood Healthcare, who has been part of this annual barbeque event since 2008, will be one of three facilities who will host members of the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) this summer. The men of Elizabethtown First Presbyterian Church and Wink’s Smokehouse personnel (a local member of KCBS) will set up their cooking equipment at Helmwood on Friday morning to prepare enough food to feed residents and their families,staff and their families, and volunteers.

PHSK is deeply concerned with the human tragedy and suffering in Haiti. Please join us in the effort to do our part by praying for God’s divine intervention.
