Seventeen students from the Phelps High School CNA class have started clinical rotations at Good Shepherd Community Nursing Center. Instructor, Regina Bishop, works with the licensed staff to develop daily routines for the class. The staff at Good Shepherd are glad to have the added help, and have complimented the class on their willingness to assist and learn.

The week of May 18th – 24th is bead week. The activity staff of Good Shepherd Community Nursing Center is ready for the event. They have ordered beads of every color and size. Residents will be assisted in making jewelry, key chains, and ornaments.

May 24th is Brother’s Day. Activity staff at Good Shepherd Community Nursing Center will assist residents in contacting their brothers via phone, letter, or email just to say “hey.” Family members who visit with our residents throughout the day will be provided refreshments.
